Trainee for Social media communications
The University of Helsinki International trainee programme is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.
We are now looking for a TRAINEE for Social media communications
The duration of a traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2025 (four months) of part-time (55%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €825 per month for a part-time (55%) trainee.
Job description
The assistant will help the editorial team develop the social media strategy for the journal Dialogues in Sociology, published by Sage in London. This will be undertaken in relation to the publisher's existing social media strategy for all its journals.
Tasks involve creating social media content to promote the journal to international audiences, in sociology and in cognate areas, and turning scholarly content into social media appropriate messaging.
The person we are looking for
already possesses some good understanding of social media promotion and marketing, have high level English language skills and ability to work constructively alongside the international editorial team.
