TRAINEE for the Faculty of Theology
The University of Helsinki Trainee Programme for International Master Students is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.
We are now looking for a TRAINEE for the Faculty of Theology.
The trainee's tasks include assisting the Faculty's researchers in analysing medieval ink pigments within CODICUM and CHARM projects, transcribing research materials, conducting literature searches, and referencing the content. Additionally, the trainee will assist in building the Faculty’s Code of Conduct. Depending on the selected applicant’s background and motivation, tasks with data collection and analysis can also been included.
We expect good oral and written communication skills, ability to take initiative, as well as organizational skills. We appreciate the willingness and enthusiasm to participate in various work tasks. Knowledge of humanities and natural science research methods is considered an advantage.
The Faculty of Theology offers an encouraging work environment and interesting tasks, to which the intern is carefully introduced.
The duration of the traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2025 (four months) of part-time (55%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €825 per month for a part-time (55%) trainee.
