TRAINEE for the Department of Languages

The University of Helsinki Trainee Programme for International Master Students is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.

 

We are now looking for a TRAINEE for the Department of Languages!

There are two positions open.


Your main tasks as a trainee are assisting in organizing events for the staff and students and update Department's social media to promote teaching and research conducted at the Department. The trainee may also assist in research projects and teaching or curriculum planning according to his/her competencies. 


We expect you to have:

  • An excellent command of English
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office tools
  • Good presentation and teamwork skills


Studying in one of the master's programmes of the Department of Languages is considered a plus when applying. 

 

We offer you an international, multidisciplinary working environment and interesting tasks. The duration of the traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2025 (four months) of part-time (55%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €825 per month for a part-time (55%) trainee.
