Project Planner in the Emotional Interaction and eHealth (EIeH) research group for 4 months.

 

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Helsinki is announcing a fixed-term, full-time project planner position. The role commences on July 13, 2025, with flexibility on the starting date, and extends until November 13, 2025. We are searching for of a highly motivated and dedicated project planner to contribute to the preparation of the international TouchExtended EU funding proposal for HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-HUMAN-14: Core technologies for virtual worlds (RIA) (Virtual Worlds and Photonics Partnerships). The project will create and study MetaTouch, an adaptive multiuser and multisensory communication platform in extended reality (XR) with visual, tactile, and auditory interaction tools and functionalities. The University of Helsinki will act as the coordinator in the pjoject. In the case the proposal is successful, the project planner may be hired in the project as a researcher, depending on her/his motivation and competencies.

 

 

Role Requirements

 

  1. A Master’s or Doctoral degree preferably in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, or a related field.
  2. Meticulous work ethic and excellent time management.
  3. Prior experience in preparing funding proposals and HCI will be considered beneficial.
  4. Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
  5. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 

 

Remuneration and Benefits

 

The monthly gross salary will range between 3000 and 4600 euros, depending on qualifications and experience of the candidate, in accordance with the salary system of Finnish universities.
