The University of Helsinki is seeking a
Leading Advisor for the University Services Innovation Unit
on a permanent basis.
As a Leading Advisor, your task is to develop the University's innovation activities and related policies, services and partnerships, in cooperation with the Unit's management and faculties.
You will focus on developing thematic and campus-specific innovation activities and services, building cooperation with international partners and innovation networks, operational implementation of ambitious development projects and also managerial tasks.
You will have strong skills and proven experience in development and innovation activities and in managing challenging development projects (e.g. innovation ecosystems and services, university-industry collaboration, incubation and commercialisation). We also value practical experience in EU/BF funding, a business background or strong track record of successful RDI cooperation with companies, and good networks with RDI performing companies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated and independent, have the ability to implement demanding measures and projects with determination, and be able to build fruitful collaborations with the university's academic community and a wide network of external partners, in particular companies and business ecosystems.
You will have a master's degree and good negotiation and communication skills. You will need excellent English language skills; Finnish language skills is an advantage.
The position is permanent. The total salary for the position is EUR 5000-5600/month.
