We are looking for an International Trainee for the Admission and Student Advice

 
As a trainee, your primary responsibilities will include creating newsletters for new international degree students, assisting with the Check-In Event, organising events for international students in the Guidance Corner, and collecting and reporting on student feedback. Additional student administration tasks may be assigned based on your interests and strengths. You will be based at the City Centre Campus.

 

You are passionate about supporting international students and have a strong interest in student services. You possess excellent written and spoken English skills, along with strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office. You thrive in a collaborative environment while demonstrating a proactive and independent approach to your work. You are both detail-oriented and adaptable. Experience in drafting newsletters, creative writing and event organisation is considered an asset.

Teaching and Learning Services of the University of Helsinki provides supports for students and degree programmes. Together with teachers, we create a well-functioning learning environment for our students. We are a unit of roughly 350 professionals in several separate service entities. We are responsible for the University’s educational planning, student and career guidance, educational technology, admissions services, mobility services for students and staff, the Student Register, counselling psychologist services, academic administration and support for Swedish-language education. In addition, we are involved in preparing and coordinating strategic decision-making related to university education.
